Is there any interest in using this as an Online Bookclub?

I think this would be a perfect venue for a book club. We could propose books, vote, take turns facilitating the chapters with a short summary and pose three or four initial discussion questions, then discuss them. People could share teaching and enrichment ideas.

Brook -- I love the idea of a book club -- I am trying to organize my different sites in my brain to determine usefulness and I have Facebook for social, listservs for professional and this "ning" would combine both. (just drawing little boxes around my scattered web-life)

I've actually considered doing something like this at my library for my teens (adults could join too, I'd have no problem with that) but I keep thinking it's a a considerable undertaking that I don't have time for being only a part-timer. However, if one started on here, I'd join.

I like the idea as well - any thoughts as to how the discussion would be structured? I can foresee a session taking weeks if we want much give & take.
