Library of Congress System for Elementary and Middle School

I teach at a K to 8 School, and inherited a library that uses LC system for the non-fiction. I have been muddling along in trying to teach the system (I'm in St. Paul, so it is used in the Public Libraries too), but I am hoping that someone has already developed some materials that I could, ahem, borrow.

So, any suggestions on how to approach this task?
