Works for me! Somewhere our description says "friends of CALCO." I'm finding I don't know my way around NING very well. Haven't been working on Things for awhile, but I've been using what I've learned: Picasa, Facebook junkie, and of course knitting.

I'm a solo law librarian and interested in sharing with other legal librarians the THINGS. So many are school librarians and their applications of the things don't come close to what I would use them for.
Please let me join your group.:-)

Sure. I can't remember how I set this group up, but you are obviously now a member! CALCO Alumni are welcome. You won't be able to just lurk, either.

Can CALCO alumni join just to lurk? I miss y'all.

Hey everyone, how are Things Going? I looked back at some older blogs and figured out that I could skip around - yay! I did a little of Twitter. If someone can explain how this is useful, I'm all ears. However, I'm all over making a customized Home page with iGoogle. It's not going all that well but I just started. This is a LOT of fun and quite interesting.

I registered for the first 23 things, but didn't finish the whole thing. However, I have already tried a few things on my own, such as creating my own blog, Flickr, LinkedIn. Thanks Karla for getting me started again.

Ah, Robbie, creating the avatar was one of the most fun things But, truthfully, one of the most time-consuming because I had to look at all of the possible outfits! (You wouldn't know that by what I chose.) You can also just use a photo, like you did here. I often used a photo of one of my cats--Norton--and he's my web persona for many of the "things," including my blog (Norton Knows). He's also in my avatar when you see the whole thing.

I joined the first 23 things on a stick project but didn't have enough time to work on it. This time I hope to take the time. Thank you Karla, good idea to get a Calco group going.

I had decided against joining the new 23 things on a Stick project - too little time, etc. But Karla's obvious enthusiasm swayed me to join, plus the nessage she sent about how it didn't matter if you hadn't joined the first round. I'm wondering if the 23 More Things on a Stick is going to require an avatar ..... I really don't want to have an avatar..... right now.
