We are doing some planning for next year and need good elementary book suggestions (other than the books by Ryan and Soto) featuring Hispanic characters. Can you help us?

- I checked out your Twitter page, thanks for responding. I looked at the pages you are following, and we share some interests. I liked the Twins page. I am a fan by marriage, but it is nice to think about baseball when it is 20 degrees outside, and brown.
I like your picture. Tried to download one, but it doesn't seem to work. Don't know what the problem is.

- I haven't read all the MHL books yet, but so far I think Halfway to the Sky is my favorite. It has a certain depth while still being accessible to the 10-14 YOs it is likely intended for. I have a 12 YO daughter and I can't imagine her undertaking a trip like that! Thankfully, she has not undergone the trauma that Dani did.
Are you done with all 23 things? I don't think I'll finish by Wednesday!
