We are doing some planning for next year and need good elementary book suggestions (other than the books by Ryan and Soto) featuring Hispanic characters. Can you help us?
I am working on Thing #37 and am doing them in order. I was wondering if people would mind also adding here what their blog name is so we can check out the blogs of people we know are around where we are (or further)... My blog is 23 Things in Frogt…
I checked out your Twitter page, thanks for responding. I looked at the pages you are following, and we share some interests. I liked the Twins page. I am a fan by marriage, but it is nice to think about baseball when it is 20 degrees outside, and brown.
I like your picture. Tried to download one, but it doesn't seem to work. Don't know what the problem is.

I haven't read all the MHL books yet, but so far I think Halfway to the Sky is my favorite. It has a certain depth while still being accessible to the 10-14 YOs it is likely intended for. I have a 12 YO daughter and I can't imagine her undertaking a trip like that! Thankfully, she has not undergone the trauma that Dani did.
Are you done with all 23 things? I don't think I'll finish by Wednesday!
Hi Andrea... I'm a new member of this ... this Ning?? If that's where I am LOL. I get all this stuff mixed up as I learn 23 Things on a Stick. They told me to leave a message for someone and I looked at your blog and enjoyed it- and enjoyed the Wiffle Ball and your "geeky" husband's YouTube... So... I don't know how much I'll be on here, I'm not even a real librarian! Just a sub in a tiny branch in the boonies of MN, but 23 Things has been fun.
