there are 3 of us librarians working here that are participating in this round of things, and we are all allowed to do some learning while we are at work, as long as we're caught up with work & taking care of patrons...it's nice to be able to do thi…
I see the posts here are a bit older, but I never find time to do this at work, and I've spent many an hour doing it at home. It's fun, addictive, and yet I feel a bit like I'm neglecting other responsibilities. To really apply these suggestions, on…
Even if I would obtain permission to do 23 Things at work, there wouldn't be more than 15 minutes a week to work on it, and then only in 5 minute increments. My hubby works nights, so I do most of it right after he leaves. A co-worker and I are help…
Take a look at the Minnesota Historical Society's Twitter page (http://twitter.com/mnhs) to give you an example of how you might use it as a library, rather than as an individual (although it's not the MHS Library that's doing that page!). I think y…

hi Everyone!
I'm the Interlibrary Loan supervisor and a Reference librarian at Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN. I am really enjoying learning all these 23 Things. Thanks, Minnesota Multi! :-)
I finally got to your home page - cute dogs :-). Where's the link to your blog? Mine is http://librarypills.blogspot.com
I got carried away with the 23 Things and finished first in our region. We got a grant to bring us into SELCO and I'm waiting to go live before summer. It will be a win-win for our students.
Another thing I've done this year is to get braces (Invisalign) on my teeth. They have been fab - my neck pain has gone away and I sleep like a rock at night - amazing! Write when you have time - I've missed hearing from you.
