Profile Information

About Me:

I was the Young Adult Librarian at our library for 17 years before taking over Adult Programming, Adult Fiction and Paperbacks, Periodicals, Volunteers, Tax Forms, Book Displays and I teach Internet Basics, Internet Practice and Microsoft Word Basics classes.

In previous library incarnations I was a High School Librarian, an Outreach Librarian/Cataloger, and a Media Librarian who purchased system wide audiovisual materials, and I spent time as the head of adult services in a medium sized library long long ago.

I once had a job in a very small office where I was allegedly a secretary/receptionist but my real job was to keep the family dog company during the day.

I worked in a vacuum cleaner factory in the middle of the night on an assembly line and had mucho trouble staying awake. zzzzz just thinking about it.
