We did "library dominoes" to open our book sale during Library Week earlier this month. I don't have video capabilities so I can't share it myself. I like your clip!
I look forward to knitting again once we settle down into our new position in Greenville, SC. I love knitting patterns. What fun to have a group in the library world.
I was the Library Director at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College until the school closed on December 31, 2008. Our new positions are at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. I am the Instructional Services Librarian at Mack Library and Dave is the Supervisor for the Academic Success Center.
HI! We remodeled our library last year and now circ people have more responsibility for helping on the public computers...so I'm trying to improve my computer skills with More things (I missed 23 things b/c they only told reference people about it!) It's interesting, but sometimes I find the "lingo" annoying. Praying you and hubby will find positions soon that compliment your skills and experience!
Thanks, Nancy. Everyone tells me my children will grow up too fast. I'm glad to still be a little connected with the library world, and I love having the opportunity to do these Things!
Hi, Nancy!! The project is progressing nicely! Our catalogers are still plugging away and have added 38,935 bibs as of yesterday. Lots of bibs!! Hope things are well at Pillsbury! :)
Good morning! This is one social place I've not spent a lot of time, but looking forward to exploring this a bit more. I'd not made time for it but if we are getting a Ning presence, I guess I shall.
I do spend a lot of time online-- you're right. I've really enjoyed the way that I can still feel connected to the outside world while being at home, taking care of the kid.
