About Me:

I love learning new things! My hobbies include reading, letterboxing, geocaching and rockhounding. Along with my full-time Media Assistant job at Elk River High School, I also work for Jazzercise and am the newsletter editor/publisher for the Minnesota Mineral Club and I have created and maintain a blog for the them, as well. My life is very full, but I firmly believe you find time to do anything you are passionate about. Thus, "More Things on a Stick" will be added to my "to do" list with enthusiasm!

I just added a text gadget under the search box and typed in the search terms (labels) to use to search my blog. It's not perfect, but I think it shortened up my side bar a little bit!

Discouraging

I usually just follow people on Twitter, but sometimes I want to try different things to see if I can do them. For example, I once tried to include a link to a new post on my blog in a tweet, and last night I tried to link to a YouTube video that I created using my new Flip video cam. Both of these tweets were basically for my learning purposes. Mulling Over More Things

Two more things done...many more to go. During Round 1 of "23 Things", I joined this Ning and set up my page. I played around with the Ning a little, but am anxious to discover more ways to utilize it this time around. I'm updating my page, have joined Central Perk and am always open to new friends!
